Turmeric Golden Milk Spice Mix

Equipment

  • 4 ounce Glass jar with tight fitting lid

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Ground turmeric
  • 2 tsp Ground ginger
  • 1 tsp Ground Ceylon cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp Freshly ground black pepper The black pepper can be increased up to 1 1/2 teaspoons, if tolerated.

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients into a glass jar, seal tightly, shake to mix well, and store in a cool dark pantry.
    2 tbsp Ground turmeric, 2 tsp Ground ginger, 1 tsp Ground Ceylon cinnamon, 1/4 tsp Ground cloves, 1/4 tsp Freshly ground black pepper
  • The Golden Milk Spice Mix should stay fresh and potent for approximately 6 months.
  • To make Golden Milk, add 1 teaspoon of the spice mix per 1 cup of whole milk into a saucepan and warm gently. Whisk well to incorporate all the spices with the milk. Once warm, pour into a mug and enjoy.
