Red/Pink Food Coloring
- 4 Canned Beets
- 1/2 cup Beet juice from canned beets
Yellow Food Coloring
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric
- 1/2 cup Water
Purple Food Coloring
- 1/2 cup Frozen blueberries
- 1/3 cup Filtered water
Green Food Coloring
- 1 cup Fresh spinach
- 1/2 cup Water
Blue Food Coloring
- 2 cups Shredded Red Cabbage
- 1 1/2 cups Water
- 1/4 teaspoon Baking soda
Blue Food Coloring
In a medium saucepan, simmer cabbage and water for approximately 15 minutes until cabbage is softened. Strain mixture through a mesh strainer to remove cabbage. Begin adding baking soda to the liquid, a pinch at a time, until it turns blue. Decant liquid and refrigerate.
