Already a Bestseller!

Wow! Thanks so much for propelling my new cookbook to the top of the Amazon Bestseller lists! I am grateful for all of your support!
If you’re building your own Four Corners Pantry and stocking it with healthy foods, The Modern Pioneer Pantry is the perfect cookbook for you.
If you’ve already ordered my second book, thank you! You’ve helped give my cookbook and traditional foods momentum in the marketplace. Retailers will recommend my book to other readers and home cooks interested in starting their traditional foods journey. You’re helping more people build traditional pantries and make traditional recipes!

If the Modern Pioneer Cookbook series is new to you, in addition to ordering my second cookbook, you can also get my first bestselling book, The Modern Pioneer Cookbook. It’s already on the shelves of your favorite retailer. Both books would make beautiful additions to your kitchen library. They’re more than just cookbooks; they’re manuals on how to build a traditional foods kitchen…and pantry, too!
I’m so happy that I’ve been able to be with you since 2018, creating YouTube videos on nutrient-dense recipes, stocking your pantry, and more. Thank you again for being on this traditional foods journey with me! 😊
Please Leave a Book Review
Can you help me keep the momentum going and also introduce others to home preservation and traditional recipes?

If you can please take a few moments to leave a review of my book on the website where you purchased my book, such as Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Books-A-Million, Target, etc., I would so appreciate it! Your five-star review will give my book a boost and encourage booksellers to recommend my book to other readers and home cooks.
You can also leave reviews on social book sites, such as Goodreads.
Your five-star review of my book will help promote home preservation and traditional foods to others!
Note: I’m sorry if your book was damaged during shipment or if you were expecting a signed bookplate at the same time you received your book, but please don’t let that affect your review or rating of my book. If you have a damaged book, please let your retailer know, and I’m confident they will send you a replacement.
Did You Request a Signed Bookplate?
My Penguin Random House (PRH) publishing team created a special request form so that preorder customers of The Modern Pioneer Pantry could ask for a free signed bookplate. To make things easy, I shared the link to that request form on my website during the preorder period, which ended on August 19, 2025.
On September 22, 2025, my PRH team let me know the last of the signed bookplates would be mailed to requesters by October 2, 2025.
I’m sorry for any confusion in thinking the book and signed bookplate would arrive together. Your signed bookplate should reach you by October 2, 2025, or shortly thereafter. If you haven’t received your bookplate by mid-October, please let me know through my Contact page, and I’ll make sure you get one.
Thank you again for your kindness and faith in me by preordering my second cookbook. I deeply appreciate your patience as the bookplates make their way to you. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy every page and recipe inside—and thank you for walking this traditional foods journey with me!

Bring The Modern Pioneer Pantry to Your Town
I have a little favor to ask that could make a big difference! If you’ve enjoyed The Modern Pioneer Pantry or would love for me to visit your area for a book signing, here’s how you can help:
1️⃣ Visit your local Barnes & Noble and ask them to order copies of The Modern Pioneer Pantry for their cookbook section if they don’t already have it in the store.
Note: You can request that Barnes & Noble order the book without committing to buy it. Once it’s in, you can browse through it, see if it’s a good fit for your kitchen (and I think it will be), and then decide if you’d like to buy it at the store.
2️⃣ Next, whether you have my book or not, ask the store manager to reach out to me to schedule a signing.
📬 Managers can contact me directly through my website’s Contact Page.
That’s how I can visit for a book signing—Barnes & Noble needs to invite me!
Your support means the world to me. Every time you make a request like this, you help share the joy of traditional foods and a well-stocked pantry with more families across the country. Thank you so much!
