Learn how to equip your traditional foods kitchen in this second part of my two-part vodcast. In the first part of my vodcast, I talk about the essential equipment for your traditional foods kitchen. In the second part of my vodcast, I talk about the optional kitchen equipment that you can add. These vodcasts are for the Kitchen Pioneers who have joined my YouTube membership community.

Essential Kitchen Equipment

If you missed my first vodcast in this series, you can watch it and get links to some of the essential kitchen equipment I discuss in the following video.

Traditional Foods Kitchen Academy

These vodcasts are available to members of the Traditional Foods Kitchen Academy, who we call Kitchen Pioneers. You can learn more about my optional YouTube membership community, including members-only videos and exclusive perks.

This membership community is optional. I’m still publishing my weekly detailed instructional cooking videos on my public YouTube channel that you can watch for free. (Thanks so much for being a Sweet Friend and subscriber!)

Mockmill for Grinding Grain

In my vodcast, I talk about how I purchased a Mockmill 100 to grind grain and how it’s part of the optional equipment that I recommend. In my earlier videos, I unbox and set up my Mockmill and show you how to use it in How to Make All Purpose Einkorn Flour at Home.

Favorite Optional Kitchen Equipment

Here’s a list of some of the optional equipment that I talk about in my vodcast. I have three Spice Grinders that I use for different tasks. I found two of my Spice Grinders at a Goodwill, so you may have luck finding gently-used kitchen equipment at your neighborhood thrift shop.

In my vodcast, I also talk about the difference between enameled and non-enameled cast iron cookware.

As you’ve seen in my previous videos, such as in How to Make Rich and Gelatinous Beef Bone Broth, I like using a slow cooker to make bone broth. In my vodcast, I talk about the different sizes and my preferences.

Here are some different rolling pins, and I show you the one I use most often in my vodcast.

Here some other odds and ends that may help to round out your kitchen equipment. I talk about how I use the different items. (If you’re a bone broth enthusiast, you know that the Fat Separator device helps you make wonderfully clarified bone broth.)

Lastly, as you may have seen from the items that I stock in my prepper pantry video, my husband also recommends including an iced tea maker as part of your optional kitchen equipment. (He thinks it’s essential. 😉)
