How to Help Vitamin and Mineral Deficiencies
In today’s vodcast, I chat about how vitamin and mineral deficiencies can cause serious problems to our health. But the good news is that most of these deficiencies can be corrected by eating nutrient-dense foods and adding specific supplements if the deficiency is severe.
These conversational vodcasts are available to the Kitchen Pioneers who have joined my YouTube membership communityโThe Traditional Foods Kitchen Academy.

Addressing Our Vitamin and Mineral Deficiencies
It is surprising how so many illnesses might be linked to vitamin and mineral deficiencies. Neurological-related diseases can often be traced back to extreme nutritional deficiencies. Some of these deficiencies are out of our control since our genetic makeup may hinder our absorption of certain nutrients.
There are ways to improve our nutrient absorption and address our vitamin and mineral deficiencies:
- The first part includes working with our doctors to find the right medications or treatments to help our particular conditions.
- The second part often involves simply eating nutrient-dense foods that have been properly prepared.
