How to Stay Well and Avoid Illness
I was happy to chat about how we can stay well and avoid illness with my sweet Kitchen Pioneers during this month’s live stream on October 21, 2021. We switched things up a bit this month and had our live stream during the day to allow some new members to join us.
Along with talking about our immune system, we also had a lot of fun traveling down a few rabbit trails chatting about family stories, including a few dog stories!
This live stream replay is available to Kitchen Pioneers who have joined my YouTube membership community—The Traditional Foods Kitchen Academy.

Boosting Our Immune System to Avoid Illness
As cold and flu season approaches, we need to make sure that we do everything we can to boost our immune systems to try to avoid illness. And if, by chance, we do get sick, we need to make sure we have lots of traditional foods and home remedies on hand to assist in our recovery.
This is such an important topic, so not only did I want to chat about this in our live, I am also planning an upcoming three-part series here in our member group where I will delve deeply into this subject. I’ll post links to these member videos in my Mary’s Nest YouTube Community, so you’ll get notifications of them in November.
Home Remedies
Here are some home remedies you can try to help boost your immune system to avoid illness or recover from illness.
